Five years ago. We look like babies!
Seven years ago. Look at Dustin's hair!
Twelve years ago. We WERE babies.
I can't believe that we've been together for so long. I remember that night that we talked until 4 a.m. and fell asleep on the phone together. I remember our first kiss. I remember hugging him first thing in the morning at school, my arms (that were covered in colored bracelets) nestled inside his big black jacket. Jacket-Hugs, we'd call them. Actually, we still call them Jacket-Hugs. I remember the way he smelled - like Old Spice Pure Sport - and how fast my heart would beat when I'd smell it on anybody. Now the chemical-y smell gives me a super headache, but at the time it was my all-time favorite scent. I used to drench myself in either Bath and Body Works "plumeria" or Victoria Secret "Love Spell"... my father would yell at me, claiming that my stench was giving him a headache. Ugh, now I agree with him. I can't wear synthetic perfume because it give me an insta-headache and makes me feel sick. My poor Dad. I hope my teenage fumes didn't cause him such grief!
Hope your Friday is amazing! We're off to see my friend Cameron, his girlfriend and their cute (CUTE!) baby boy (they live out of state), and then we'll get Moroccan food with Matt & Natty + Marquita & Mike tomorrow... nervous! I've never had Moroccan food. Is it good? Any suggestions on what to order? I don't even know what "flavors" are showcased in Moroccan food... I'm assuming that it's heavy on the spices. Wish us luck!
Xo,
Violet
