I've been writing that page for a few weeks  (and  in my head for a very long time) and I know that it's almost a novel. In fact, half way through I thought it might be easier to just WRITE a novel. If you have a few minutes, take a peek!

How, you might ask?

My Non Stress Test went really well and I had lunch with my little (big!) brother, Joey.
We went to Sweet Tomatoes, an all you can eat salad bar place (his request!) and DANG, that boy can put away food.

As we're heading out, he says:
"Yeah, I didn't want to overdo it... I have a baseball game tonight."

I love that kid!

The Quiet Life Has Been Nominated!

Hey guys!

I nearly peed my pants yesterday when I was notified that I'd been nominated as one of  the Circle of Mom's "Top 25 Pregnancy Journals". Ahhh! I felt like the prom queen, or something! Who ever nominated me, thank you so much! You totally made my day. :D

ThE contest ends on May 18th and I think it's much like that of Prom... the prize is feeling a sense of accomplishment and being able to the say that you've won! Maybe I'll persuade Bubby to buy me a tiara if I place in the top three or something. I'll even take pictures. HA! ;) 

I added a button the top left column of my blog for easy voting and I'm going to leave it there until the contest is over.

1,300 Info and A Wish!

Hey there!

For all of you that have written to me about taking part in my upcoming year of 1,300 Things To Be Thankful For, I just wanted to let you know that the emails and info will be coming your way by Wednesday!

Leigh-Ann is visiting us for a whole week next month after she touches down in Springfield to take part in a wedding. This is her first time to California and I can't wait to frolic around my home state with her! Teeheehee!

La-La (a.k.a. Miss Sister-Pants), I miss you terribly, but knowing that you'll be here soon makes my heart do leaps and flips and happy dances all at the same time. Squeee!!

Links, Series and A New Nav Bar!

Hi guys! I've been re-doing my blog for a month or so and I'm finally getting close to being done! I've done almost all of the designing, HTML and CSS myself *flex* and apart from my navigational bar that the coders over at Freckled Nest Blog Design are fixing for me (I could not, for the life of me, get it work with colors that I wanted), It's almost all working!

The right side-bar links under "my series" are all updated and working, including the new "Dear Squid-Kid" and "(1 + 1 = 3)" archives! Sweet!

I've taken the "Guess What Squiddy Is" poll down, since we know that our little babe is in possession "man junk" and not without girl parts.

I've got a nice little un-obtrusive "Vote for me on TopBabyBlogs" button on the left side-bar for your clicking convenience (Was that a shameless, "vote for me everyday" plug?).  ;)

Also, You can't access it yet, but I've been working on my "People/Blogs I Adore" page complete with links  and once my Nav bar is functioning, you should check it out. Totally.

Check back tomorrow for my SUPER tasty, almost healthy cupcake and frosting from scratch (Not from Emma's From Scratch, though!) recipes.
