Hi – My name is Kathrine and I blog over at Petticoats & Peplums. I'm from the Gold Coast, Australia where I live with my new Husband Corey. I have an etsy store called Petticoats & Peplums which sells vintage clothing, accessories and patterns. I love to sew, knit, crochet and bake. I am also very passionate about photography and would love to one day be a professional photographer. My blog is about me trying to live a creative life and all the fun and madness I get into along the way.

Congratulations to the new Mrs! I just love weddings. :) Katherine has a taste for retro dressed and in that, we are alike! She's a fan of sewing, which is where our love parts. Now, don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to be more fabric-ally inclined, but for some reason I'm so timid! I have a sewing machine and it works (most of the time), but I think it's my slight fabric hoarding problem that prevents me from cutting into anything I've collected just in case it can't be replaced. Anyone else have the same problem? Gah!
I hope y'all had an amazing weekend. We had a quiet one in, and on Sunday, I had a girl's date with my dear dear Miss Natty. We had P.F. Chang's (upscale chinese food), shopped at Old Navy (75% off sweaters, baby!) and then saw Breaking Dawn. It was so good - the best of all the movies, so far. Well, minus the one "pack" moment in the middle - if you've seen it, you'll know what moment I'm talking about. So out of place and laughable!
Anything fun happen in your neck of the woods?
Ooh it's my week already! How exciting. I love that you popped in the wedding photo. I can't wait to get more photos to share. I have your fabric hoarding problem too. I have some pieces of fabric that have been in my stash forever but never get used. I really should do something with them!!!
