Chicken soup (from scratch!)
organic chicken drumsticks ((bones and skin, too!)), filtered water, chopped carrots, onions, celery and garlic. Boiled for two hours. Removed sticks and discarded bones and skin (gross!) and chopped meat. Fished out all veggies and removed. Added chopped chicken back to the broth and also added fresh carrots, celery, onions and some brown rice. Then, I let it boil until the rice was cooked, added salt and pepper to taste and some chopped cilantro for some bang. BANG!
1/2 a grilled cheese sam.
Rice bread, raw sharp cheddar and pastured butter. BAM!
Tasty-delicious local, organic Nectarine.
Blew my sock off.
Remember... one foot = one sock!
Yum! that sounds like a fantastic lunch, I would love to make chicken soup now, but I think it's still a bit to hot outside :(
