That I use a wheelchair and I have myself one and a half legs?
I was talking with Leigh Ann a while ago and somehow we got on the topic of people probably not knowing about my limb situation. I don't really post much about it because: a) the only time I get full body pictures is when I take pictures of myself in mirrors, which I hate doing, and b) because it's not something that normally comes up in everyday blog conversation.
Now, I'm not ashamed or freaked out to share at all. Please don't think that. I actually encourage people to ask me questions about my leg, cancer, having one lung and going through a Whipple. I find that people are more comfortable when they just get their questions out of the way. Do any of you guys have any questions for me about any of it? Don't be shy! If I get enough questions in the comments of this post, I'll make a whole blog post about it.
I'll answer anything, as long as it doesn't have to do with me doing dirty things with my "little leg" (or Bean, as we affectionately call him... yes, it's a him!). Yes. I've been asked question like that. Sick, huh?! I mean, come on.. that would be like me asking you if you'd put your elbow... uhh, I'll leave the rest to your imagination. ;)
Ask away!
xx,
Violet
No questions, but I love that outfit :D

Hmmm, do you use a wheelchair exclusively or some type of crutches sometimes as well?
Ps-love your hair! :)

So beautiful! Just came across your blog and read a bunch of entries. You are one strong and inspiring woman. I am following and excited to hear about the arrival of Squid and the other things you share. :)

I was curious, at what age did you lose your 1/2 leg? Do you also use a prosthesis along with the wheelchair? Has having the Whipple procedure, or the lung removal affected your pregnancy in any way? Given the cancer, is your pregnancy considered high risk...? And do you think/fear getting cancer again in the future...?
Sorry that was a lot! Also love your red hair in this pic!! :D :D
