[I've got an organic, raw honey mask on my face, hence the sticky-ness!]
Sunday is the ever-so-lovely Valentines Day! Do you guys have anything planned? I told Bubby that I wanted to go out to Benihana and that I wanted some carnations (they smell SOOO good!). We shall see!
I made a Pretty Little Playlist, just for you. Soak up the love!
I'd like to haul my butt out to the kitchen and make some heart shaped sugar cookies for our new neighbors. Did I tell you guys? We moved!
We live about 7-ish minutes to Berkeley, right on the Richmond/El Cerrito border. I LOVE our new place. It's much, much smaller than our old place and it IS an apartment, but the little community that we live in is an artist community! The buildings look like something right out of Disneyland's Fantasyland. *swoon* There are 9 apartments in the community and garages that have been turned into studios. Come the 18th, I'll have my very own studio (complete with a bathroom -- the only one to have one!), right next to our apartment! I'm so so so excited. I'm going to finally have a place to make my soaps and lotions and creams and masks and rubs and pretty little cards. SO STOKED! :)
Let's see, on the baby front, nothing has happened yet. Goodness gracious. My womb must be hell of comfortable. :] I'm doing pretty good and feeling better emotionally. I definitely have my ups and downs, especially when I need to eat and get cranky, but Dustin is there for me and my friends and family have shown me so much love, that it gets easier each day. I have a D&C scheduled for next week, if this little gummy bear doesn't come out on it's own before then. What ever is meant to happen, will, so I'm not worried. I'm prepared and accepting and just letting it happen.
[Life is Good]
So glad to hear that you are feeling better. Your apartment sounds dreamy!!
(also, I love the playlist - thanks!)

That sounds like a great neighbourhood! I speak from experience when I say you can really thrive off that sort of community.
Where I live is the "most artistic postal code" in Canada - most artists per capita living in one area! There's always something to get involved in or someone to be inspired by. :) AND THE FRIENDS! The friends are the best part.
